I was hoping to get some thoughts on the authenticity of this WSS cap from an estate sale. Sorry for the quality of the pics - they are the best I could obtain.

SOrry, but it is an older fake.
It is made nothing like an original HPC visor.
Also, one of the easiest "tells" is that the sweatdiamond advertised the "fresh air" (frischluft) system and pressure-free sweatband ("stirndruckfrei"), both of which this lacks.
