    Hi,
What do you think of this one?
Is it close to reality? Base visor seems to be NSKOV.
    Thanks in advance,
    Luc

    Hello

This is a postwar cap with fake tr insignia.
    Plastic cord etc..

Have a look in this fine thread by our own Stonemint:

I can only quote stonemint (look here - post # 13: Opinion on this Luftwaffe white top schirmutze)

"The hat is a postwar BRD hat. The easy give-aways are the plastic (not celluloid) sweatdiamond, and the fact that it was made by Bamberger. Bamberger did not exist during the Third Reich. Any hat you see marked Bamberger is postwar."

    Thank you.
I knew it was wrong but I thought I could refurb it in a NSKOV visor, but even that would be difficult now.
I enjoyed the thread on the WSP visors: my query did not fiind it.

I agree with LTC & Erwesa.
Also, Bamberger is a postwar maker--they did not exist during the Third Reich.

    Narcis--
Here is a thread on makers that existed after the war (both DDR & BRD).
If you see one with TR badges, run!:

    Understood.
This forum has a lot of layers I'll have to discover.
    Thanks.
