    Greetings,

I have plans to purchase this Wehrmacht NCO visor cap as it seems to be in almost perfect shape, however I would very much like to be certain of its authenticity before making the transactions. Help is much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

It is an original private-purchase visor by Otto Dittmann of Dresden.

    Not in perfect condition though.

Many moth holes, sweat band torn in several spots and damage to the chin strap which certainly puts it in a lower value category.

The insignia present nicely but as pointed out - it has issues. If the price reflects the condition it may be a good starter example for your collection. NH
