This cap has nothing to do with a cap for Werkscharen der DAF.
I think some clown put in the tag, to make more money. The
tag apparently might be glued in. Or am I wrong? I cannot see
if the tag is from the correct material.
I never could find out if the maker Hans Schafheitle from Colonia
even had a RZM-permission (281) after a specific date. There is some
confusion when they became an A1 manufacturer after being an A2.
There is a note their permission expired December 1937. Maybe they
got it back with a new patron?
Visor itself looks like a good Werkfeuerwehr visor (I do not see signs of a police eagle).
Don't know why they would bother to stick that tag there--the hat speaks for itself.
