I believe this is from nederlands or danemark of the Periode of 1940-45. From Naziorganisation.

The "DJ badge" posted by 21Marek is interesting. It looks like a DJ or HJ für Leistungen badge (even the font looks the same) but without the runic symbol and in its place a sword. I think I see German language on the badge? Difficult to tell due to the photo quality (even enlarged). However, if the language is German that may rule out the badge being from the Netherlands, Denmark or elsewhere because they use different languages than in Germany. But difficult to say. Could you please supply a better photo or type out what the language on the badge reads?

I considered that it may be a tinnie but if it is, I would expect to see language on it promoting whatever event or occasion the tinnie was intended to support (I can discern none of that); a badge issued for uniform wear would also be more solidly constructed than a tinnie would generally be but that is impossible to tell from the photo alone. It could also perhaps be a fantasy piece but more information is needed.

Hi all thought i would start this thread of for people to show there HJ/BDM/DJ collections and bits of so come on peeps lets see what you got

Ok ill start I never ment to staet collectine HJ/BDM/DJ but found my self drawing to it after purchasing a HJ knife since then aka a mounth ago Iv gatherd a few other bits making a nice display bits that include .

HJ Knife relic
BDM Triangle
2 tinnies one 1934
HJ Death card from the fire brigad helpers
And 2 DJ stamps

Iv also just purchased a HJ Achievement Badge cloth version silver award waiting its arival.
