The history behind this little piece of plastic is amazing. It's amazing how this piece got from Germany to me.
Germany --> US soldier --> S.E. Michigan --> lock box --> me cleaning out a house of a deceased WW2 vet --> a family who didn't want anything to do with the medals --> my basement --> me finding them again ~8 years later.
The information was very helpful, but I still have one question. Around what time were these made/distributed?
Not 100% but I think 1940 on this style or early 41 anyone else have some input?
