Exactly what you want to look for in these caps--an RZM mark on the buckle, and a tag on the inside.
They are very hard to find in this condition, as most of them where worn out by the ex-HJ boys in the immediate postwar era (sans insignia, of course).
As Bob says, most "HJ" caps for sale on the market today are 1950s caps with added HJ pins.
Congrats!
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
What about the HJ cap pins are they too have 2 prongs or a needle?...Here to learn so I don't get burned.
They can be found with either.

What price now for a decent Cap? £200-£300??
Like I've said, I've always wanted one, but the fakes are so good now. And that's sad.
Hello Everybody!
First thanks a lot for your commentary!
For answer to some of questions!
First the "True HJ Wintermütze" is black!
All the RZM textbook cap I have see are black and the fake from 50's are dark blue!
Only the "Winterbluse" and the "SkiHose" are dark blue.
Here some pictures of the RZM Winterbluse, I still research the pant...
But I never see cap with 2 prongs always needle!
Best regards
RZM
Very Nice!!,...@ RZM, that's exactly what I thought, the missing HJ cap was black and have no doubt it was all original, I hope the the guy finds it but I doubt it, cant trust everybody.
Having owned several of these over my collecting years, all of the genuine ones I have seen and owned are dark blue with both double prong and pin attachment for the insignia. There were no fake hats being made in the 1950's. I was there and this did not occur. The caps referred to were civilian pieces modified in recent years by fakers.

LIFE'S LOSERS NEVER LEARN FROM THE ERROR OF THEIR WAYS.
These uniforms and wintermutze are recently found at a Belgian attic. They are from a Flemisch HJ unit.
All RZM etikets and rzm buckle and all the blouses have rzm etikets and ink stamped hj blusenstoff.
I was lucky and bought them all, to keep them together.
So pretty textbook stuff.
These caps are black and the uniforms are dark blue!
Perharps it is for good use in the discussion in this thread.
