    The first thing you will notice is that they do not have swastikas on them.
    I will move your thread to the Bundeswehr section.

    Ok, sorry, yes I knew they didn't have the swastika, but are they 3 piece construction and magnetic centers? Maker marks?

    Also I've noticed a lot of these being sold on ebay from Canada and Germany. What gives?

    Magnetic or unmagnetic cores depent on the maker and/or timeframe, always three piece construction.....

    Possible variants:

    St&L --> EK1/2
    - unmarked
    - mm '4'

    Deumer --> EK2
    - mm '3'
    Deumer --> EK1
    - unmarked
    - 'L/11'

    Assmann --> EK1
    - 'A'

    Deschler --> EK1/2
    - unmarked
