I've never thought about collecting the "57's" but this looks great!! Probably rarer than a wartime issued one! Leon.

I think you should Leon..cheaper as well..& by what little knowledge I have less companies produced these awards..so you can sound like you know what you are talking about!!!! lol. Cheers Terry.

Again as Nick states, late production, it will be after 1968, and will be an "open" hinge block with that large "C" catch...still a good 57er, some of these later produced pieces can be just as well made and detailed as their younger brothers.....and well worth adding to any 57er collection !
