Help on Bundeswehr Luftwaffe Tunic

    Reinforcing Alex's post... this is a private purchase uniform and, therefore, does not have the usual date markings of BW uniforms. The "Diolen" cloth was popular in the 1960s. Rounded epaulets are from 1963 onwards, French cuffs abandoned in the early 1970s (1972 IIRC, but I could have that wrong), and Biese also abandoned by that time. Very nice matching uniform from one of the more interesting periods of BW service uniforms. Fortunately the hats for senior officer rank are not too hard to find on German eBay. Not too expensive most of the time.
