Actually Gentleman, its a perfectly good 1957 regulation award by St u L, albeit a late version after 1968, with open hinge block, second pattern pin and later large "C" catch, not as desirable as an early version, 1957-68, but still a nice collectable piece if the price is right, say around 45 Euro..............it is believed they stopped making these war badges in the mid 1980's, these later late pieces tended to be very "blingy" and had a more gaudy appearance than this example.

Thanks for the info Oradour I have bought the badge so I can finish my Bundeswehr Luftwaffe LT Col uniform I will post a pic when it comes.
