Hello collector friends
At Nick Hessens request, I am posting my 57ers.
Absolutely first piece of my 57 collection (4 years ago) was this beautiful unmagnetic S&L from 70´s. It has even crisper detail of the core than my early S&L marked 4.
I always wanted some pieces representing Austrian style of postwar TR awards. Souval blank core with trifold is one of them. The cross is very early, with glued frame.
I am still looking for another Austrian style cross: B-schinkel without swastika but with date.
My fourth and for this time last 57-er EK2 is this early S&L marked "4". It was nearly as expensive as 39-er, but I am happy to have it. On the second photo you can see the comparison between late S&L (left) and early one.
In "happy hour" I purchased this EK1 S&L in case (halbetui) that is probably wartime leftover.
This stonemint piece was stored in bank vault before I bought camera, so I can offer you only old seller´s photos. Sorry for that.
...and for this time ended with this Ritterkreuz with first pattern core. Some say it is "C" frame, some say it is "D" frame with leftover first pattern core. Personally, I would be hapier with second opportunity.
Finally I focused on finding some nice oaks and OLS. First were these late OLS with different silver content. Oaks are die struck and marked ?00 (first numeral is under the loop), swords are cast and marked 925.
