Post war Imperial Naval wound badge Raw stamp

It could be that also, if it is it is the gold wound badge. Jim

All I know is that it's struck in a brass or tombak material so I'm not sure if it's the gold badge or simply an unpainted third class

Sorry, but IMO this is a phantasy item. Many details (swords, anchor) are quite different as in original pieces:

It is an Assmann design & will be found listed as item # 16686 on page 136 of their catalogue.

I noticed this particular planchet on eBay a while ago & cannot comment on originality.

Thank you for your help, I do see the Assmann background pattern, now!
Apparently it was sold from German in the 80s along with others so even if it's not period, then it's an inexpensive, interesting piece
