    Hi Gents,
Was able to secure a nice 4 piece photo lot attributed to RKT Major Walter Stein. He was awarded the RK on the 28th of November 1943 with the 3./GrenRgt 485. Post war he served on in the Bundeswehr as an Oberst from 1956 till 1973, eventually he died at the age of 79 (09/08/1994) in Seelbach Baden-Baden.

The next photo peaked my interest, a nice pic of him in his BW uniform wearing his 57ers. The discription on the reverse says: "Papa und Brigitte". I hope you like my colorizing skills as well.

Great images Nick I like the colouring effect, it brings the image right up to date !
You did well to get this set, they are super images, especially the BW shot, kind of reminds me of my BW Oberst 57er display......I wonder where his post war 57er awards are ?
    Prost ! Steve.

I just hope his grouping is still out there, unsplit and with his name on it.
