    Hi Ralph, welcome to the BW sub forum..Reibert is the man for fighting knives, especially BW versions, I think this is original but has been cut down for some reason, together with its scabbard, has it a date on the blade near the cross piece either with the maker mark or the opposite side........still an interesting piece ! Thanks for showing.

    No date on the blade just says Robt Klaas with the two birds and Rostrfi on the other side.

    It does say Germany under Robt Klaas

    Pete....yes, Ralphs reply with no date, did confirm that to me, all "genuine" BW knives are dated,,,,the dealer one shown is correct with a 1970 date.
