2nd Lt. Named fixed bale Schlueter helmet

Navy ones are marked USN so that sort of sorts that one out so if it is USAAF helmet I wonder if he flew in one of the bombers and wore that helmet when the flak started. If you find out anymore about the guy who owned this helmet don't forget to post it here

Fantastic early "S" Fixed looped set Marty,never seen an example with such an early Heatstamp,do you own it Bud?if you do then a massive well done to you,can't help with the markings.
