    Korean War shell with WW II liner.
    Nice one.

    I think the seam is in the front but it is hard to see. If it is in the front then it is a ww2 pot with the latest issue chinstaps. This is a nice set. Do you see any numbers on the inside front rim of the helmet? This would help me accurately date the pot. Also, what is the maker of the liner. Nice ww2 set.

    Its a front seam and the liner is a firestone. it does have some # on the front but I will have to take it back apart. Gary

    ok, with the number i can date the pot down to the month. Nice all original ww2 helmet.

    Korean War Helmet?absolutely no way,ww2 shell with post june 44 od7 shade bartacked chinstraps with late war replacement T1 hook attached to original straps,liner too is post june 44 with blackened brass A washers,cool buy Gary........

    Danny I cant make out the #all I can see is 88?. I've been doing a little research and I believe this is a WWII lid refurbished with a T1 chin strap release (T1 chin strap came out in August 1945) soooo for $50 US the leather chin strap paid for the hole thing.

    Very nice in all original condition, I really like the patina on the shell,not been messed with always a pleasure to see
