Chromed M-1 helmet

hiya guys

this is my latest one its a front seamed swivel bail US M-1 helmet chromed to be used for honor guards & parades i believe

someone seems to gotten a bit handy with the marker pen on the liner

Neat lid! according to the M1 chart I have here, that shell would have been made around the January 1944 area approximately.

don't feel to bad it could have easily been a dud & been a waist of money i was just lucky this time some times it happens some times it don't Ive had my fair share of bad buys along the way when taking a chance on stuff just like everyone else
