Picked up a great Korean War McCord helmet with the correct chin straps (M 151A no liner) for just under £20 the postage cost more than the lid itself. As soon as it arrives I will take some pics.

So often the case where the shipping out weighs the goods,but thats collecting for you,needs must i'm afraid.........thats a great price for a 1951 McCord shell,post up whenever red.
hi jake. ive got the same liner. carpac 51 . but the paint is a darker green. the sweat band from what I can make out has a date 1951. also the clips on the sweat band are painted a lighter green. the helmet shell is a front seam repainted, with t buckle chin strap.
