He collects ww2 items over 20 years and he has a "little" museum in his house. For a privat museum it is very huge.

Now I'm really confused. If he has been collecting for 20 years, he would know the value of these I think. Did he ask you to post these for a valuation, or are you considering buying these?

.......if you read my first post I said that it is only the shell, so not the chinstrap.
He added a post war liner to complet the lid.

Yesterday I was taking better pictures and yes I think you are right, the chinstraps were replaced in my opinion too ;-) good eyes steve, seeing that from those photos!

No he asked me because he don't know the value from painted helmets. Someone wanted to give him 350 Euro for the helmet.
