Thanks, Paul. I use that technique on the best of my M1's, behind UV protective cases. On many others, I have polystyrene heads with a cotton caterers cap underneath the helmet to keep the liner away from the foam, which prevents sticking and damage. The heads are all painted too, to help seal them.
