First M1 - Opinions Greatly Appreciated

Just purchased my first M-1 from a reputable dealer. Looks really good to me...is it too good perhaps? Nothing peculiar stands out to me but I am seeking more expert opinions.

Labeled as Front Seam SCHLUETER with a Firestone over Inland Liner. Net cover is actually a rectangle shaped piece of netting...is this correct? I would think it would have originally been trimmed to the helmet contours.

As for the net it reminds me of British style helmet nets.They are more or less square..

Looks completely unissued - Nice first lid !

There was a late-war net issued with a tighter weave. I don't know if this
is one of them. They usually came with a large instruction
tag clipped on.........

A good late war M1. I think the net might be British? Although I think British nets are darker.
