Fixed bale M1 with added Major insignia

Im kinda looking at this one.
Seller does not provide any info on marking or serial, however the rear rim appears to have stamps on it.
Liner is Inland made.

The Shell is fixed bale with major insigina added.

Liner looks like it is coated in something, too shiney. But all in all a nice piece.

True Greatwhite, that makes no sense. I was looking at the photos and was sure there is a seam on the front in the first photo. But a rear seam fixed bale shell is a bit peculiar. Maybe better photos of the shell are required.

Front seamed...luv the look of the shell has a nice darkened age and patina but judging by the pics the chinstraps have been added?and not a clue what the liner has been coated in.?..................

All of seller`s m1s went through a real bidding bonanza....
This one sold for 276 euros, other 220 or so and another for 816 euros.
Some people must have wanted them real bad.

Well i guess some folk don't know diddly squat about where there money has gone?what a waste,repainted shell most likely fake chinstraps and a dodgy coated liner with damaged webbing.!
