Hello! I recently bought my first m1 helmet from ebay for $12 (with an additional $8 shipping) I Was wondering if this configuration was ww2 correct/original. It seems that it has a firestone? liner with an F6 under it. I apologize if the pictures are not that great, they're taken with my ipod

I would say that the helmet is post war because of the green color and the line is definitely ww2

The shell could be WWII but repainted postwar if that is what you meant?

yup WW2 shell post war reissue/repaint with a WW2 FIRESTONE liner.
