hello, i found this helmet on ebay. it interested me because it ws fully painted white. do you think it was period painted and real?

No chance, this guy does reproductions, I recognize the purple backdrop. He says in his descriptions they are painted by him.

White camo medic helmets are the biggest faked items amongst helmets, with that being said just assume 99% of them are bogus.

Helmets rust from the inside out. This one has rust on top of the paint.
