    I'am new here and my english is not the best. I have only this one M1 helmet and i want to know:
    It is a world war 2 or post war helmet
    How i can repair the liner, or where i can buy a better one
    And how i can identify the age of the helmet? (world war or post war)
    Now here is too late (2:06am). Afternoon i will take new photos with better light.

    Hi and welcome to the Forum. Pot looks good, but
    others will chime in to verify. Both chinstraps are
    re-sewn 'Viet-nam era' type and the liner is
    Belgian - '1953'.........

    As before the Liner is a Belgium M-51 and the marking (ABL= Belgian Army / Belgische Leger) The shell appears to be a late war US helmet, it is not so strange to have such a matching of different nations part's placed together, I bought a similar set up many years ago myself
