Identifying My M1 Helmet

Article about: Hello everyone and thanks so much for taking a look at this post! I have had this helmet for 20+ years and never really thought much about it until clearing out the office and getting rid of

    Need a pic of the cover seam stitching on the beach (brown) side to know for sure whether its the real deal,the Liner as already said a Type 2 Nam era produced by Marmac industries.better images all round would be a big help.

    wow, thats a nice lid to have just hanging around the office, as others have said. liner is vietnam but pictures are needed of the pot to date it. most likely it was a ww2 pot and cover that we paired with a new liner an sent off for vietnam. the set especially the cover is becoming harder and harder to find and not to mention more expensive!
