korean war air force helmet
Article about: hello, i went away on vacation and happened to stop at an antique shop. I found this korean war helmet for sale for \\$95. It has sewn on od7 chinstraps and is a rear seam but has no liner. I

It has U.S.A.A.F. on, so is up to 1947.
That same year it changed to U.S.A.F.
However, I'm highly suspicious.

Hi Taka, yes I see what you mean and assumed that's what your reservations were based on, my example has hand painted decals so can't help out there,regards Opex

Good point Danny and to be fair that was your original query. Perhaps yes if it had the liner I would be Ok with the price, but just a shell I am not sure????
