Korean War M1?

Is the inner paint correct for WWII/Korea, and do you suggest I strip 'er down?

yes, it does look like a Vietnam era repaint

your neighbors appears to have a post Vietnam 1980's era repaint, notice the white corking thats visible? Ive see piles of these at surplus stores for around $10 each just for the shells

What big of a difference is there between WWII, Korea, and Vietnam paint? I know WWII is darker, but I was told Korea was slightly lighter. Can anyone post pics comparing the 3? Thanks!

P.S. Before I forget, I stripped my liner some more and found a nice 84th Railsplitters decal

Also, so it would be correct for Korean War reenacting, should I repaint it? If so, what paint would you suggest?

The decals will likely be late 1950's or 1960's applied.........
