well yes but there is some controversy over this as theres very little in the way of evidence they were actually used but the one on mine is not the US made OD cover B1652 RVN Original Vietnam OD Green Sateen Helmet Cover | eBay

it was just listed under helmets/hats in the military collectibles section & only got 5 bids but it did have poor pics & really no description

They are unused but not brand new, whatever that means.
The standard green covers arent really that rare.
The fact that your helmet looks like it is not a put together also makes it special.
It seems that the cover and steel pot at least has been together a while.
You dont see that very often with these.
