Liner Polish Guard Forces

Hi

I present you this liner founded with this M2 steel helmet
M2 Paratrooper Helmet

Marking are PGF (Polish Guard Forces), the G letter was erased i don't know why
I saw they were used by guards for germans prisoners camps at the end of the war
Did you already see a liner with this insigna ? (In real or on original photo)
I saw german, british and french models with it but no with US liner

My question is : do you think these two helmets have a link ? Or just an adding to complete the steel helmet ?

Nice late war Liner,paint certainly looks to have some age to it...........
