M1 with 82nd Airborne decal.
Article about: Heres an M1 i've had for a while.Late war front seam, swivel loop, green webbing chinstraps and a Korea era Westinghouse liner. The net appears to have been on it a while going by the fading.

Hi NCA but that decal looks like a transfer?or is it my eyes, never known ww2 vintage to use these type of decal, only brush painted type, these were introduced in the 50's sometime i think, could either be korean original or a mock up in more recent years, still a nice lid+liner materegards Dave.

Thanks.I thought its about time i posted some of my M1's, i dont just collect Brit lids!Almost certain the lid and liner is post war usage..no idea on the 82nd logo though.
I always thought a decal is a transfer?
