    still a nice item for the price. i would just like to ask what would or should a black camo m1 look like. if you dont mind me asking. sorry i forgot to say but ive had a m1 for a while now that has black paint but dosent look like it was ment for camo. its post war swivel bail.

    That is a M1 McCord fix bale early WWII, looks as if it still has a lot of the original corking, Look for the heatlot number underside front brim. Fix bales are starting around the 150-200 USD (Shell only) and has the original webbing and clasp as well as the stainless steel rim, Very nice!

    Personally that liner is pretty badass. I would display it alone. I don't know why just really attractive to the eye in my opinion.

    I am keeping it for the collection,probably not too many of those liners like this around.
    I did not see any heat stamps but will look again.

    Well sorry Chris its not what you were hoping for but on a plus an original shell and unit marked liner for fifty bucks is a steal I.M.H.O........Jake.
