m1 helmet liner chinstrap

hello, i saw this liner chinstrap and i have been looking for one so i took a look. it has the green hardware and brown leather. i need it to complete a helmet but wanted to know if it is real. it doesnt have any markings and i am not an expert on these straps. what do you think? it is for a fixed bale.

Wouldn't matter if it's for a fixed bail, just goes to a liner.

I noticed these things have skyrocketed in the past
several years. There was a time I could go to the
downtown surplus store and buy them in twos
and threes for $12 each.........

Well the past couple have gone for alot but thi one is low and im hoping it stays that way!

I have always wondered about these types. The fasteners are quite oblong in shape, and I always took it that they were foreign made. Now I know!

*Edit: Not to mention the rivets that protrude more than your average liner chinstrap. I never quite noticed that on this variation.

Well hopefully it doesnt end up lije the others and goes up in the last 10 minutes. I also need a black harware strap which is easier to get for a new navy helmet that i will post on the other thread about the navy helmets
