The only thing that might stop me would be the price,

I noticed these things have skyrocketed in the past
several years. There was a time I could go to the
downtown surplus store and buy them in twos
and threes for $12 each.........

I have always wondered about these types. The fasteners are quite oblong in shape, and I always took it that they were foreign made. Now I know!
*Edit: Not to mention the rivets that protrude more than your average liner chinstrap. I never quite noticed that on this variation.

Well hopefully it doesnt end up lije the others and goes up in the last 10 minutes. I also need a black harware strap which is easier to get for a new navy helmet that i will post on the other thread about the navy helmets
