M1 helmet production date

Hi i was wondering if my M1 helmet is wwii era or if it was made at a later date. I was looking at some of the photos on this forum and i think it is wwii with sand texture but i am interested to hear what the experts think. Please help

gday, the paint and chinstrap look like vietnam era to me, the chinstrap most definitely is vietnam era.

hi the heat lot number will tell you roughly what time frame the shell is from if you know your stuff,cheers dave.

from the shape of the helmet, chin straps & paint finish your looking at a time frame of the 1960's onwards.
