Found the stamp. It is 4103.

I'll keep my mouth shut in future,however technically its a Canadian made shell not US but yes i was wrong and its not a euro-clone,this would have come from one of 5 differant contracts produced between 1970-1976.

I'm with Jake - Keep that nice liner and find a good
WWII shell to put it in. Being a much later helmet
and without bales, it's not so desireable.........
