I was lucky with this one. To me they both look like green buckle too, (well I hope.) The last green one I saw on eBay went for $117.00. Crazy.
This was a good outcome, but I have had quite a few epic fails too, so it evens up!

    Best Regards,

Andy resell the liner and keep the chinstraps that way you will get your money back and end up with 2 free mid-war chinstraps to boot sounds good yes.....Jake.

I've got a spare pot I can put the liner in, that will give it a home, a rear seam high dome with a "T Patcher" emblem on the side. The extra strap is destined for this one.
    A cunning plan indeed.

It has a Vietnam era strap, and it's been annoying the heck out of me for ages!

Steve, with all the excitement (for me anyway) as regards the extra chinstrap I have totally forgotten to research the decal. Thanks for the info,
I suppose it wont go well with a "T Patcher" pot then.
Perhaps I'll display it as is until I can get a more appropriate home for her.

    Thanks,

    Andy

Well, mine actually has two decals on it. The 98th,
'Iroquois' and the 92nd, 'Buffalo Soldiers'.........
    Regards,

    Steve.
