    Hi guys,

just watching e-bay for ww2 era M1 liner chin-straps and noticed this one shortly to sell for over £30.

ORIGINAL WW2 US ARMY/USMC M-1 HELMET LINER LEATHER CHINSTRAP ~ MINT CONDITION! | eBay

Now I was under the impression WW2 era chinstraps were made by United Carr, and after doing a little digging on here, Prym appears to be a German company that made snaps for the German military. Now does this mean that Prym started manufacturing chin-straps for the U.S military post-war?

    Cheers,

    Ian.
