hi guys ive got this m1 here, just would like to no what you guys think of the paint and liner and the nco bar. the heat stamp is 359B front seam. just the paint. this is cork? but to me it looks to be a lighter green. and the chin straps are a lighter green. where fixed bails still used postwar. or has somone repainted this at a later date to look ww2. the liner it lose in the shell witch tells me it may not be the right one for this shell. the leather strap is post war dot maker. but it has a red dimond on the front. on the inside all the metal clips are painted green was this done post war to. i cant make out the stamps on the nape. thank for looking. the liner stamp in dome is IMP.

Definitely looks like post war repaint, when is the question........ I've seen war time repaints, but they appear much darker. The NCO stripe looks like tape residue rather than paint.

Fixed bale helmets saw use post war.
