    Thumbs up Need help: M1 Shell with black Eagle and Arrow markings on the inside.

    Question directed to M1 specialists: Came across an M1 shell in very good condition. Its liner is similar to 1941 style... dark brown and light brown vertical strips. The shell had many black stamps underneath with sort of an eagle and arrows with some illegible word/s underneath it. The chinstrap was made of canvas and the suspension was of the riddel type. Sorry but that's the only info I have, as I couldn't take a picture of the helmet. Any idea whether it's US or not?
