Article about: can anybody give me an idea as to what the dots that are on each side signify,i know the dot behind the spade means 506th but not the others, cheers Dave

    i spoke to the guy i got it from and he told me the other bits came from a loft but he picked this up nearly 20 years ago from france ,

    Dave it looks like one i seen for sale a while back and it went for a rather large amount of money

    Dave i think you will have a bargain here , in the Hermann Historica auction of the stock from Avranches museum on the Normandy /Brittany border someone has just paid 46,000 ( yes you read it right !! ) for alid in slgihtly better condition than this one !!!
