Thanks Timothy I hate to talk money but I have an opportunity to purchase it from a seller he is asking $100.00 Cdn for helmet and liner does this seem like a fair price I do realize of course I will need to source a good period liner for it though.

    Hi Mark,

Can you post some close-up shots of the paint? Also is there a "S" stamped under the lot number.

$100 doesn't sound bad at all.

    Thank you and regards,
    Taka

I'd say good price as much as the M-1 pots have gone up there are a couple stores here where I see the WW2 liners going for about twenty five to fifty dollars depending on the condition of them I need to get around to picking up one myself. timothy

From the pics Mark the shell looks in top form and with hardly little use,the liner is a P64 M1 Helmet Liner produced between 1964-1969,if shipping and customs is on top of the $100 then its an expensive item to own, baring in mind you still have to find and maybe purchase an original liner, and they wont be an original set................

Thanks Jake a Canadian purchase I have already contacted the seller and he is willing to come down in price some because of the liner.

I managed to make a deal with the seller and purchased this M-1 for $60.00 dollars which IMO is more than a fair price for this example so now the fun part trying to source a good liner .

    Regards Mark
