Hello, I picked up this helmet and liner today. I know the shell is a McCord and was made approx May of 1945 based on the heat stamp. I have a few questions though:
    1. Is the liner a WWII liner? I know it is a Firestone but I thought that they made some post war liners.
    2. Was the helmet and/liner repainted? Maybe for Korea?
    3. Lastly, any thoughts on value?
    Thank you for your help
