Hello Peter,

Stocko (YKK) is a German press stud manufacturer. It seems very unlikely that Hawley liners were used post war in Europe.

So to me the rivet and possibly the strap are a post war replacements.

Very beautiful helmet though!

Hello Emile,

The hawley liner is 100% good. That one has the original fix attached strap.

The Stocko rivetted strap of wich we speak is the one on the MSA liner on the Luitenant helmet /liner combi.
Had no idea it was German. Thanks.
