stripped m1 with 29th insignia

hello everyone, i saw this lid and just had to post it. its a fixed bale that has been stripped but has a 29th infantry insignia present. would there be any chance that this is real or any way to even tell if tthis could be real? the insignia seems like the right size compared to others i have seen. it has definetely interested me even though it is crappy condition. if it is real its a shame it ended up like that. any help is appreciated, thanks.

In all honestly the helmet is toast. Any value associated with the 29th division would be minimal at best.

Yeh, but if it isnt bid on it will be worth the price and i can always put chinstraps and a usmc cover on it
