Picked up this helmet i think its around 1960s/70s
Nice find!
Mitchell camo cover dates to 1974 (DSA100-74); liner dates to 1983 (DLA-100-83).
Need better close ups to be sure,but certainly looks like a SPP type II liner from 1983/86,the shell appears to be a Canadian made RJ STAMPINGS MFG,from one of five contracts between 1970-1976,chinstraps should be Parrish marked as a "P",overall a nice find,thanks for sharing............

Cover, yes. Liner...no. Sweatband dates to 1983. Liner pre-dates both cover and sweatband; post 1972 production liners used a removable head cradle. I date this one circa 1965-70.by yuengling325

I'm no M1 expert I admit but I thought the removeable webbing was only on the grounds troops type and that the airborne lid retained the fixed type?
Just looking for clarification here.

Removeable cradle webbing only appied to Ground troop Infantry Liners,this has no baring on type 11 Airborne liners,there A frames and fixed A washer webbing continued until the final contract was completed in 1986 by Speciality Plastic Products,just as it did in 1942............

Whoops, my mistake, Airborne troops liner, duh.
We all including me can get it wrong sometimes,here's a few pics of one on ebay at the moment................
