Article about: Hello, I got this one off of ebay last night. These are pics from the listing so I will post better pics when I get it. It is a WWII FB Lt. helmet. It also came with a nice addition to it.

    Very nice, I agree look's like it's seen some action, the patina on the shell is great,with the original paint and cork. Of course the cover is a real bonus, congrats on this purchase.

    nice, i like them when they have a little wear like that one has. is there a number or any other info to look up the man who owned the helmet?

    Just curious, When was this diamond pattern made?
    That fixed bail has some great texture on it.

    i think the diamond patch with the ega stamp came about in the mid 50s.

    The diamond pattern was done in the 50s definitely post ww2 done. There covers are hard to find, very nice helmet
