USN Talker Helmet

Bought my first MkII Talker Helmet last week. Painted black, but has the original cork texture. I had a couple chinstraps laying around for years so when this one came up locally, I jumped on it...just so I could use one of the chinstraps

Intresting helmet Dayle looks minty I cant help but notice how the liner is held in place through the shell knowing nothing about these I can only assume the wire hooks must be correct and are either spring and or hardened steel.
