Vietnam Era M1C - 71st Airborne Brigade

Thought I'd share this Vietnam era M1C with tac marks for the 71st Airborne Infantry Brigade.

The 71st AIB was part of the Texas Army National Guard from 1968-1973. They never saw overseas service during Vietnam.

Liner is dated 1968. Shell is actually a rear seam, swivel loop Shclueter, which would date it to WWII. Obviously received a repaint post-war.

Set came out of Texas, which jives with the 71st's lineage. Clearly a set that has been together since it's use in the 60's/70's.
